Momentum Roasting Co. is driven by a desire to provide friends, family and neighbors with unique coffee all while fueling passions. Coffee is not just our business. We are committed to helping you pursue your passions by sourcing, roasting, and developing the best coffees we can find. We offer delightfully nuanced coffees from all over the world!

You order it first. Then we roast it. Then we ship it. We do this because fresh coffee matters. Your coffee doesn’t deserve to become stale on a shelf for months before you touch it.

We Use Science and Math to Roast Your Coffee:

We geek out pretty hard… Every batch of coffee is logged into a computer! We monitor many variables to ensure each batch and bean is treated fairly.

We can trace our coffees back to the FaRMER:

Real people grow and tend to coffee plants. These crops are their livelihood and income. Transparency in the supply chain is often traded for larger profit margins. We need to know who grows it and how it gets into our hands. Ethical and Fair Trade practices ensures that we are part of the solution. Well grown coffee should directly improve the life of the producer.

We roast to Maximize flavor Diversity and experience:

Perhaps we should abandon the idea of dark, medium and light roast. Maybe the better approach is to taste and experiment with the coffee. This is what makes coffee fun to us. Homogeneously roasting each coffee into categories is limiting. We aim to extract sweetness and complexity that make each coffee unique and exciting.
